GHD-S
The GHD-S drill bodies are the latest innovation in the indexable drilling space:-
- Designed with least possible machining and more forming. The drill bodies have high homogeneity of the material reducing vibrations and increasing rigidity,
- Made with spherical coolant holes with even dimensions, this leads to the coolant touching a higher surface area of the internal part of the drill and higher dissipation of heat,
- Specialized steel for high strength. The tools are made from a blend of materials which increase rigidity, increase strength & reduce vibrations for better machining conditions,
QPMG
Knuckle shape edge design for reduced load during hole making and better hole accuracy & surface finish. A proprietary insert designed especially to be paired to the GHD-S drill bodies. It follows and enhances the philosophy behind the GHD-series
- Special knuckle shaped geometry reduces the stresses on the cutting edge greatly reducing the vibrations in the cutting action,
- Sharp chip breaker enhances the machinability and reduces the cutting resistance leading to more effective cutting
- Common insert for periphery & center make inventory management convenient
